If  you  want  to  expand  your    mind , mind   your  reading. HIT   THE   BOOKS.

Now  that  you   have   graduated , you”ll  never  have   to  study   again ,  right ?  Wrong ? Your  education   in  the  game  of  life  is  just  beginning.

 The   most   successful  people  continue    their   education  far  beyond  graduation  day.  They  are  lifelong   learners. They   continue  to    improve  their   minds    by  gaining  new   knowledge , trying   new  experiences ,  and   meeting    new  people. You  can   become  a    lifelong   learner  too.

You”ll  discover   things  about   relationships , marriage ,  your  career , raising  children , and  more !

 

 

       Develop  the  habit   of   reading , not   because  you  have  to , but  because   you  want  to . Up  until  now , you”ve   had  assigned  reading.Now  you  can  choose  your  own  reading   material.  As  a   rule ,  read  a  good  book at  least  once  a  month.  Have   at   least  one  good   book  going  at   all  times.Read   book  reviews.

Your  study   habits  will,  to  a   great   degree , determine  your  path  to  SUCCESS. For   some  people , studying   is  a    breeze. For others , it”s  a  hurricane. You   may   be  somewhere  in  between.But   know   this.You  have   to  work  at  it.  YOU  HAVE   TO   DISCIPLINE  YOURSELF    TO   LEARN.

Study    doesn”t just   come  in  spans   of    four  years   or  twelve. It  is  a   lifelong  commitment. Every  area   of  your   life   will  demand   wisdom   that   you  don”t  already  have.

       You”ll  study   to  earn  a  degree.

       You”ll  study  to  get  a  job {  or  keep  it }

       You”ll   study   to  improve  your  relationships.

        You”ll   study  to   know  God  more .

So   study  well.Set  a  time.Choose  a  place. Zero  in.Keep  notes. Assemble  resources. Discipline  your  efforts.

                HIT  THE   BOOKS  BEFORE  YOU  HIT  THE  BRICKS !  

 

    Vary  what  you  read. Read  how—to   books ,Bible   study  books , leadership   books , biography  and    history  books , current   novels , and  classic  literature.MAKE   YOURSELF  A  STUDENT  OF  THE  WORLD.

      Here”s a  hint : get  a   library  card.Most  of  the   books  that   you”ll  want  to  read  are  there , and   you  can borrow  them   for  free !

      The   person   who   doesn”t   read  has   no  advantage  over  the  person  who    can”t  read. You   can, so  do  it.It”ll  open    your  mind   and  improve  your  life.
